Paid Survey/SignUp, Free offer Vs Trial offer

Just want to talk a little bit more about paid survey/signup before going into specific sites. Generally, after you signup at treasuretrooper, or cashcrate. There are generally two different survey/signups: one is 100% free, the other is called free trials.

100% free means you do not need to pay anything. The only thing you need to do is take 5-10 minutes to finish several surveys. You will be paid by filling out forms. The good part is that you never need to reveal anything about you credit card number or debit card number. And you usually earn about 0.5-2$ per survey.

Free trials are usually some kind of service some companies offer. ex. at cashcrate, they pay you 13.50$ for trying NetFlix service. Here you need to give your credit card number. The first two weeks is totally free, then NetFlix will charge you monthly membership fee around 16.99$ per month. However, you can certainly cancel the service before they charge you the monthly fee. In that way, you earn 13.5$ by just trying NetFlix service. If you really feel uncomfortable about giving your credit card number out, you can use virtual credit card number if you have citi card, or you can use some prepaid vias/master card. The main advantage of free trials is that they usually have much higher payout compared to surveys.

Anyway, it is up to you to choose 100% free or trial offers, or both. I would do both, and if you choose some big company trial offers like Yahoo, Netfilx, I am sure you can cancel your service before they charge your credit card.
